Terms and Conditions for ClawRoute

Welcome to ClawRoute!

By accessing or using ClawRoute ("the Service") at https://clawroute.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.

1. Description of ClawRoute

ClawRoute is a SaaS platform that intelligently routes AI API requests across providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others) to optimise cost and performance. Users connect their own third-party API keys, which ClawRoute encrypts and uses solely to fulfil routing requests on their behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use ClawRoute. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at brandon@mg.clawroute.app if you suspect any unauthorised access.

4. API Keys and User Data

To use ClawRoute, you provide third-party API keys (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). By doing so, you acknowledge:

Your API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption

ClawRoute uses your keys solely to route requests on your behalf

You are solely responsible for the usage, costs, and compliance associated with your third-party API accounts

ClawRoute is not liable for charges incurred on your third-party provider accounts

5. Non-Personal Data and Cookies

ClawRoute uses web cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. These may collect non-personal data such as browser type, pages visited, and session duration. By using the Service, you consent to this use of cookies.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClawRoute to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions of third-party AI providers

Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service without written permission

Transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content through the Service

ClawRoute reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this section without prior notice.

8. Subscription, Billing, and Refunds

ClawRoute offers Starter and Pro plans. Plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice provided by email.

9. Availability and Service Changes

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. ClawRoute reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and code comprising ClawRoute is the exclusive property of ClawRoute and its creators. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of all data you submit through the Service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ClawRoute does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI routing results will meet your specific expectations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, ClawRoute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or API costs arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
